Ordered replacement lint screen. When it arrived, I took out the old one and put the new one in the dryer. I am extremely happy with the new lint screen. I tried to find one on Sears website but it was unavailable; it was wonderful to find your website and to find what I needed. The customer service representative was so helpful and pleasant! Replaced the timer - This should have been a VERY easy repair however, there is a clip (holding the timer to panel) on the bottom of timer than must be removed with a pair of pliers. There is absolutely NO room to access this clip so I had to take apart much of the dryer to gain access. What should have been a 15 minute repair turned into a frustrating hour. Read more

I used the web site to figure out the most likely causes for the drum not turning. I watched the web site's videos to see what I would have to do and thought it wasn't too bad; something a rookie could do. Removed LP Orifice and LP Gas limiter. Orifice was easy, however the gas limiter was the tricky one because I had no instructions to what went where. I could not find anything online as to how to convert from LP to Natural Gas, but you could find several things as to how to convert from Natural to LP. I ended up finding the Dryer schematic on line for the Whirlpool Duet natural gas dryer and was able to figure out what sequence the Spring, regulator and limiter went in. The order I just... After having replaced the drum support rollers twice in a roughly 3yr period, I realized something wasn't quite right, and indeed it wasn't. I had been ordering the wrong parts - I did use the online parts locator after checking, & double checking my model number. Apparently my older Whirlpool dryer has a somewhat ambiguous model number because the rollers that were shipped each time looked nothing like the originals. I replaced the starter switch, that really didn't need to be replaced, and the thermal fuse, which did. Read more

Replaced the heater tube. Had to open the back up, removed the heating element and then replaced the heater tube. Then I put it all together again and everything is fine now. Read more

Separated oven door by removing screws. Inserted handle and secured with clips, and reassembledo door with screws provided. In served broiler handle and snappedal into place. Read more

Confirmed parts needed through online chat with tech and followed video instructions for dryer conversion. Found a video online for range conversion. Replaced orifices for stove top and adjusted oven burner orifices and air shutters and inverted pin in pressure regulator to natural gas position. All went well with no problems, about an hour and a half to gather tools and complete both jobs. Probably could be done faster but I was taking my time. Read more
