The Door Shelf Endcap Kit is an OEM part for Whirlpool refrigerators. It includes end caps that are designed to support and secure the door shelves, where bottles, jars, and other condiments are typically stored. These end caps attach to the refrigerator door and help to keep the shelves in place, preventing them from sagging or falling off.
Symptoms of a bad Door Shelf Endcap Kit include:
- Shelves on the refrigerator door becoming loose or falling out,
- Difficulty in fitting or securing the shelf properly,
- Visible cracks or breakage in the end caps.
Causes of end cap damage typically include excessive force when placing items on the shelves, age-related wear that leads to material degradation, or accidental damage from handling.
This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.
