Well, I took it out (it slides out) to get a good look at it,so i could ref pictures on your site..naturally I had serial/model of refrig,and thats mandatory to get the right part. It came in 2 days,,and being just the bucket, it took only a few minutes to transfer the auger assembly/cube/crusher.... into the new one, 6 screws total..Your site has excellent vids on DIY.......I HIGHLY reccomend. The drying agent lid was broken for a couple years now and our dishes would never dry completely. We finally decided to google for Kenmore parts and this website came up. Although the solenoid I purchased did not fix the problem, nor the "mother electronic board", or the motor, my experience with Appliance Parts Pros has been excellent. • Ice maker won't dispense ice

I first thought it was the auger in the ice container so I changed it and it was not the problem. I then talked to ApplianceParts customer service that it might be the yoke on the motor that turned the auger or even the motor itself even though it worked. I ordered the parts, the yoke was supposed to be able to be changed by itself but mind would not come off the motor shaft so I had to cut it off just to remove it from the unit so I had to change the motor anyway because of this. Took access panel off the back of the refrigerator with 1/4 inch nut driver and found that the compressor was not running properly (humming and hot but not compressing). The compressor cooling fan was working as well as the fan in the freezer compartment. I fixed the same problem with another refrigerator by replacing the relay and start capacitor on the compressor.
