William A Madison , NH June 20, 2016 Appliance: Samsung Washer WF220ANW/XAA-0002 Occasional knocking smell of burning rubber during spin cycle Replaced all four damper shocks. Disassembled machine to the point of removing the stainless steel drum from the tub to inspect the spider. Cleaned everything and reassembled. Found uneven resistance in travel between pair of the two different pairs of shocks, no spider damage. Could do it again in under 2 hours. Forgot to have LocTite thread locker on hand for reassembly. It's been like new for a week now, no issues. Read More... 5 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours Tools: Nut Drivers, Pliers, Screwdrivers, Socket Set
Deborah S Gilbert , AZ September 11, 2017 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG WASHER Washer was moving during spin cycle even after balancing I replaced the shock absorbers. The phone representative was very friendly and helpful ording the correct parts for my washer and my order was shipped the same day. Received parts in 3 days. There was a really great video with step by step instruction that made no guess work for me. I completed the job in about an hour. The washer is working well and not moving anymore. I'm very pleased and would use this company again without hesitation. William E Flowery Branch , GA December 06, 2019 Appliance: Samsung Washer WF365BTBGWR/A2-01 Washer would walk all over the room during spin cycle Only run 2 loads through after the repair, but I fixed it by replacing all suspension components. I replaced the 2 front shocks, the 2 rear shocks (different part number), and the 2 springs. I followed the repair video and it was close enough for the whole job to be done in an hour. The hardest part was getting the door spring out from around the gasket. Richard S Lansdale , PA January 02, 2021 Appliance: Samsung Washer WF363BTBEUF/A2-0001 Washer made a banging noise and danced to the beat around the laundry room in spin cycle. Needed to replace washer counter balance. Also order shock absorbers in case they needed to be replaced, fortunately they didn't need replacement and will be returned. I used Appliance Parts Pros many time and always found them to be very helpful and the repair videos are very helpful. Pamela J Boise , ID October 19, 2020 Appliance: Model WF361BVBEWR/A2-01 SAMSUNG WASHER Broken counter weights and replaced shock absorbers while at it. Too much noise and vibration and restarting when speeding up for rinse, and then a constant T-T-T-T-T-T-T noise while at full speed of rinse. Tested and did not seem to be a bearing problem. Ordered shock absorbers. After opening up the machine discovered counterweights on front of the drum were broken and were starting to break apart with chunks of concrete and sand on the floor inside the machine. Ordered counterweights and waited a week for their arrival. Easy fix, thanks to the excellent video with Simon on replacing shock absorbers linked to shock absorber part (this video should also be linked to counterweight part). Had some concern about how tightly to bolt counterweights to the tub because it seemed one of the counterweights that broke was loose. Chatted with Appliance Parts Pros, they didn't know. Chatted with Samsung Technical Support, they didn't know. Talked with local appliance store tech and his advice - turn bolts just a little past tight, and use Loctite on the threads.
