Too much noise and vibration and restarting when speeding up for rinse, and then a constant T-T-T-T-T-T-T noise while at full speed of rinse. Tested and did not seem to be a bearing problem. Ordered shock absorbers. After opening up the machine discovered counterweights on front of the drum were broken and were starting to break apart with chunks of concrete and sand on the floor inside the machine. Ordered counterweights and waited a week for their arrival. Easy fix, thanks to the excellent video with Simon on replacing shock absorbers linked to shock absorber part (this video should also be linked to counterweight part). Had some concern about how tightly to bolt counterweights to the tub because it seemed one of the counterweights that broke was loose. Chatted with Appliance Parts Pros, they didn't know. Chatted with Samsung Technical Support, they didn't know. Talked with local appliance store tech and his advice - turn bolts just a little past tight, and use Loctite on the threads.
