Small plastic button that covers the water dispenser actuator on the refrigerator door. Replace if cracked, broken, missing, or won't stay in place.
We attempted to reassemble the dispenser. At the time we did realize how simple it was to remove the cover. We checked Appliancepartspros.com and found the Water Dispenser Cover Assembly. Once we saw the part and understood how the cover was in place, we used a thin, flat, trowel to gently get under the cover to pry it loose. We then just snapped the new cover in place. Replaced the defrost heater, Temp sensor, and defrost thermostat. I'm pretty sure the defrost heater was the only faulty part, but I replaced the other parts to be safe. Tested the refrigerator evaporator fan and it would not run. Ordered evaporator motor and fan blade just in case. I went ahead and replaced sensor just as a preventive measure. Did not take long. forgot to order fan clip, but was able to salvage old one. Works Great. Read more

Initially called repair man and he checked it out , took about half of the freezer insides out to decide the fan was bad. Then he informed me that he did not have part and was going to be on vacation for a week. So I finished tearing apart the freezer to get to part removing the ice maker and rear panel, removed fan and ordered new parts, parts arrived as said and I put back together.
