Paul S San Clemente , CA September 28, 2014 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RF267ABRS/XAA-0000 Flap (spring) broke flap which opens/closes when dispensing ice Bought new case-ice-route from AppliancePros.com for Samsung Refrig RF267ABRS. Part arrived intact and on-time. On my Samsung model, the original part has a chute (clear piece) with a molded channel for the water dispensing tube to sit in. The new part did not have this molded channel in the clear piece hence I took a rasp and carved it out. After some minor filing, completed the R&R and everything works great. To remove the control panel, remove the small phillips screw on the bottom of the control housing case. Next, slip a small flat screw-driver into the slot on the bottom of the case (right hand side) and wiggle it around to release the 1st plastic tab. Gently pull out the panel. This exposes the case-ice-route part which is easily removed with the 2 or 3 phillips screws and wiring with connectors. Note that when I 1st called both Samsung and their contracted parts supplier, I was told that this part was not avail, and I needed to buy a complete left-hand-side door (huh?). I did ask them why I they were not stocking parts for a refrig less than 6 yrs old, and I just got the run-around. Overall my experiences with Samsung products has been okay. And my experiences with their service and call centers has been poor. Kalim T Houston , TX April 28, 2020 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG FRIG Seeing a lot of condensation in the fridge looked like the gasket was old and frayed which was letting error in I swapped out both frig gaskets, luckily it was the same part number. They pulled out very easily and the installation was straight forward. We watched a couple of videos online which made the process easier. We had to remove one part - two screws, other than that, no tools needed. After we first installed them I was concerned they were not seated correctly, but after opening and closing the doors a few times and checking all the surface area, the frig doors closed great. No more condensation. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
