Poped off plastics caseing inside the frigerator. Unscrewed 4 screws holding black fan inplace. Followed yellow wire to locate white sensor. Need to be careful not to break styrofoam, don't force it, it should seporate from plastic easy as long as the 4 screws are out. Swap it for the new one and button it back up. • Ice maker dispenses too much ice

This appears to be a weak spot on these refrigerators; the left-door ice maker will stop making (or at least consistently making) ice. Instead, an ice dam is created, which builds up in the ice maker corridor, making even getting the slide-in bucket nearly impossible to remove. I ordered the French door housing, the new piece has a solid raised curved part that enters the guide, and a new center hinge. I watched both repair videos shown on appliance parts Pro. It looked pretty simple, so I got my 2 screw drivers and unplugged the refrigerator and started. The hardest part was removing the upper and lower hinges. I heard a cracking sound so I opened the freezer again and found that it was s piece of plastic -- a small bar -- that had broken off of something. I went online, first to identify the broken part. Replaced the inside back panel which comes with a new fan. Seems the old fan had stopped working due to ice which burned it out. The drain tube was blocked and ice built up on the bottom plate. Using a basting tube from Walmart and hot water I thawed out the ice in the tube. The basting tube became much like a toilet plunger and cleared the line rapidly. Nothing else worked as fast. The amount of water being dispensed into the ice cube tray was excessive, causing overflow of the tray. The water then ran into the collection bin and even down the side walls of the freezer creating a huge block of ice in the bin, and ice all over the lower shelves as well. The excessive build up of ice caused the cube tray to crack and also split the little silicone water grommet that connects to the water delivery tube which directs water into the cube tray. Replaced broken handle support bracket (part #AP5620448) and cap (part #AP5620751). Used a phillips head screwdriver and allen wrench. Pliers also came in very handy. If replacing cap and support bracket, be sure to install cap before support bracket, otherwise you'll have trouble installing the cap. I ended up not needing to replace the fixer handle (part #AP4372038), but I'll keep it around just in case. Read more

After cleaning the seal the freezer continued to build frost so I started searching for a replacement freezer door seal. I found your site had one in stock but decided to contact Appliance Parts Pros by telephone to make sure I would order the correct seal. The employee was very polite and confirmed they had the seal in stock for my Samsung refrigerator. I ordered the seal and exactly two days later it was at my front door. Samsung refrrigerator. it started when the setting was on cubes but was putting out crushed ice. then months later the water refill was running down into the ice bucket causing a massive block of ice in the bucket. look closely at the first two or three cubes in the ice tray after they unload. mine were not dumping and staying in the tray. when the water refill kicked on it would overfill the tray (because of the leftover cubes remaining in the tray) and would run down into the ice bucket...
