This is a flexible rubber bellows that connects the dryer exhaust outlet to the external vent duct on a combination washer/dryer unit. It channels hot, moist air out of the dryer section and helps absorb vibration during operation. Replace this bellows if it is cracked, torn, or collapsed, which can cause poor drying performance, excessive lint buildup, or moisture leaking inside the unit.

Washer won't spin or stops mid-cycle? This tub displacement switch senses water level and balance to restore proper spin operation. DIY-friendly fix.

Neptune mah4000 had a no spin but did pump water out but not all of it Guillermo S. • Chicago , IL • March 06, 2017
I had the problem couple years ago I bypassed unbalance switch it worked fine for a couple years and had the same problem again so ruled out unbalanced switch. Door lock light on and checked made sure wax motor pushed out all the way too the second switch for spin check OK, so took a chance on displacement switch x2. My family loves to over load it and also replaced by passed unbalance switch and boom every thing went back to normal. Its also good to clean every thing when apart.

The timer and on/off knobs broke Joseph C. • Wakefield , VA • January 31, 2015
First I used epoxy which I do not recommend since it can interfere with the later replacement of new knobs. The replacement of new knobs went easily with the exception of getting the epoxy off. Getting the epoxy off is difficult and required a Dremel to cut the plastic and slip joint pliers to peel the plastic off.
