Washer Float Switch Float Parts
Genuine Speed Queen part
By: Speed Queen
Part Number: 55882
This is a start switch intended for use with dryers. With time or because of damage caused by accident, the start switch may stop working correctly. If the start switch isn't working, then the dryer will not function properly, and a replacement part should be ordered. If the push to start switch doesn't respond, it could be damaged or broken. Replacing the push to start switch on a dryer is a simple process. Start by unplugging the machine. Remove the back panel and pull out the old push to start button. Put the new button in its place and reattach the rear panel. Wear gloves for protection. Restore power only after the complete reassembly is performed. This push-to-start button is a genuine OEM replacement part. It is sold as an individual unit. The part is sourced from the manufacturer and made of durable materials. The push-to-start button can be installed in various dryer models made by SpeedQueen and Alliance brands.

My electric dryer wasn't heating during drying Deborah H. • Athens , MI • January 20, 2020
I was looking for a parts sight and found yours. I started to watch all the video tutorials on each part and the "check these connections first video". Well by doing this I was able to find the source of my problem. What I thought was the heating coil not working right, ended up being the timer that was bad!!! I am so very happy with your sight and the step by step videos that were the success to being able to do this on my own.

When filling water would not shut off. Rick T. • Kansas City , KS • March 02, 2024
I followed the video AppliancePartsPros.com provided. Had the old part out and the new part installed in less than 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the part did not work. I used my multimeter on the switch and it did not have continuity. I called AppliancePartsPros and they immediately took care of me and sent another switch.
The name AppliancePartsPros certainly applies to this company in my opinion. I've ordered parts a few times over the last couple of years and every person I have spoken with was...
