E53 error code Susan R. • Beverly Hills , FL • March 03, 2017
After taking the top off the washer I found the Tech Data Sheet ( for repair person ) The E53 code was listed as Low Voltage to the motor board and referred me to test #15. Which stated to check the "drum water NTC" ( Negative Temperature Coefficient or Thermistor). What was misleading was that there are 2 NTC's. If your washer has a "Sanitize" feature , then there is a drum water NTC as well as one on the fill valve body. IF you have the sanitize feature then you need to replace the drum water...

Lid switch washer Michael D. • Ambler , PA • November 03, 2014
Lid switch problem. Easy to fix, not so easy to diagnose. First thing to look at if something goes wrong and there does not appear to overtly be mechanical issue like pump, etc.

This mechanical cycle timer controls the sequence and duration of washer operations. Replacing a failing timer restores proper advancement through fill, agitate, drain, and spin so cycles complete reliably with accurate timing. What it does:
- Advances the washer through each step by routing power to the water valves, motor, and drain pump at the correct times
- Sets the length of each stage for consistent operation
- Common failure signs: cycle won't advance or stops mid-cycle
- Timer knob doesn't move or must be jiggled to run
- Skips functions (no agitate, drain, or spin) while others still work
What's included:
- 1 mechanical timer assembly
Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; access the timer from the control console
- Take photos or label wires; transfer them to the new timer one at a time to maintain correct positions
- Reuse the existing knob and dial; align the timer shaft properly and secure the mounting screws
- After reassembly, run a short test cycle to ensure proper advancement

Timer motor going out on my old amana washer Michael R. • Watsonville , CA • July 26, 2015
My mom loves her old Amana washer and AppliancePartsPros.com was the only place that had the part. Replacing the timer is an easy task but I had my repair guy put it in anyway. Some of the screws on the outside cover were so old we cut or used pliers to get them out. Washer is working great. Also ordered my part and got it the next day.

Genuine Frigidaire part
By: Frigidaire
Part Number: 809020007
This UI board assembly replaces the refrigerator's user interface/control board to restore button response and display feedback. It lets you reliably set temperatures and modes so the appliance accepts and shows commands correctly. What it does:
- Receives and processes user inputs from the control panel (buttons/touchpad) so selections register and run.
- Drives the front display and indicator lights so temperature, mode and status information is visible.
- Replaces a failed or intermittent interface that causes unresponsive controls, blank or garbled display, or incorrect status indications.
- Works with the main control to pass commands; replacing the board can isolate interface-specific failures.
What's included: One UI board assembly. Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before starting — this part is electronic and may be damaged by live power.
- Take photos of existing wiring and mounting before removal to ensure correct reassembly.
- Handle the board by its edges and avoid static discharge; use anti-static precautions if available.
- Reconnect all plugs securely and test functions before fully reinstalling trim or covers.

E 90 error code on frigidaire affinity washer Charles L. • Omaha , NE • June 02, 2015
We ordered a new control board for the washer after seeing other success stories to resolve this error. I have never done any work on a large appliance, but figured I'd give it a shot. All I needed was a screw driver and about 20 minutes and this was fixed. Works just as expected.
I ordered this part on Friday...it was at my doorstep the very next morning. Unbelievably fast turnaround which was a nice bonus.
