Used multimeter to diagnose no continuity through heating element. Took out element and found underwire from a bra (C-cup I think...) had shorted it and caused a break. Ordered a kit with new belt, rollers and idler pulley. Used instructions in kit, YouTube videos and instructions I found under the console of the dryer. Found that the idler pulley had frozen and that the belt was nearly worn through. Repair it self was not difficult. The problem I had was in hooking the new belt around the idler pulley. There's a metal piece that the lint filter pushes down into that got bent a bit I guess and ended up skewering the lint filter. I got it loose but couldn't get the metal piece to stay where it was supposed to be to operate without catching the lint filter. I think it's there to prevent things like socks from hitting the blower wheel. When the new part came in I had to take the front cover off the blower wheel.
