The removal of the ice bin and auger motor was easy but removing the auger from the shaft was another story. The auger was frozen to the shaft even after it sat out overnight. I carefully applied heat with a propane torch, directly on joint of the auger and the tip of the shaft, followed by a few drops of cold water. Once the shaft and auger cooled the auger separated easily. Putting the components back together was simple taking about ten more minutes. Read more

• Ice maker won't dispense ice
• Ice maker not making ice

Removed the broken ice enclosure tray, disconnecting and removing the motor and cube/crushed ice selector mechanism. Mounted the motor and selector mechanism to the rear of the new ice tray enclosure and installed the enclosure to the freezer compartment walls. Read more

Checked out the video on your site on how to disassemble the ice maker. Was really easy when you know the correct sequence. Only 3 screws and it's out of the freezer. Disassembled the ice maker on my kitchen counter and replaced the ice stripper. Reassembled and installed back in my freezer. It is as good as new Read more

• Leaking

Here's the story. All my appliances except the dryer broke. Yeah. talk about bad luck. First I tried to fix the refrigerator. Replaced both motherboard and inverter board. Now it wakes up but the compressor does not kick in. Need another part. The washer, well I have to pull out the sink to get enough room to pull out the washer to fix it. Replaced the motor, however not the easiest to do with the older refrigerators. First I had to remove the shelf that hold the ice bin. There is a small screw midway underneath the tray. Once removed the shelf is loose but still hard to remove. There is a side panel that is slotted andonce removed the shelf can then be removed, but not knowing that it is a very odd fitting unit. Upon receipt of part (in 2 days), removed right panel (snapped on). Removed ice tray. Removed one screw holding broken tray. Then removed plug from motor/solenoid. Next, moved motor/solenoid from old cracked tray to new one. All holes aligned exactly. Replaced shelf/motor in freezer, and reconnected cable from motor to freezer wall. Put one screw back in. Then replaced right-side snap-in panel. Finally, slid in ice-tray itself onto the new shelf. Tested okay. Read more

Ordered the roller and nut, reattached the nylon wheel that I found in the floor under the oven.This was the only website where I could find all of the parts detailed and so I knew exactly what to buy. Even the manufacturer's website didn't have this info. Read more

It was a relatively easy fix and the video instructions on this site provided were helpful. The one piece that wasn't clear is the alumilastic was already on the replacement part so a separate tube is not required. That wasn't clear on the video and was an unneeded expense. Read more
