DIY, changed motor and sump. Put a dab of valve lubricant on seal. Wet outer seal of sump to get it to seat in bottom of tub. Cleaned electrical connectors corroded by leak. Coated connectors with dielectric grease. Had to buy additional clamp. Two clamps came in the sump package but both fit the smaller hose only. Neither fit the large hose. I wish the correct clamps were included. Home improvement store clamp is a little too wide to fit between ridges in large hose. Read more
Replacement roller bearing for trash compactor drawers. Installs on tracks to support smooth gliding. Replace worn or damaged bearings for easier operation.
Bot both sets of roller bearings, lower ones on the appliance and the set on the trash can that rolls out. I just followed the instructions that were in the roller bearing package and only needed the tools that are recommended. Was a little tricky with the nuts, really need a person with "small" fingers to reassemble the nuts back on the lower set of bearing that are on the appliance. All in All, went well and works. Fix dishwasher not heating or melted terminals with this heater terminal nut. Secures the heating element wire connection to prevent arcing and leaks.
Replaced the heating element as shown in the video. Repaired a bad connector on the wire leading to the heating element. The clean light still flashed 3 times. Determined that the thermal fuse also needed to be replaced. Replaced the thermal fuse as shown in the video. The clean light now flashed 7 times which I discovered meant that the control panel needed to be reset. I then reset the control panel by pressing the buttons: normal, heated dry, normal, heated dry. Kick plate was easy; screw holes in the wrong place, but used double-sided tape instead and worked great. Didn't need the extra screws ordered; it came with them.
