This lock washer is used frequently for a number of applications on power yard equipment. The size, 5/16, is the default for many small engine housing and manifold applications. Lock washers are used with machined bolts to fasten engine blocks to the housing of the equipment being used. The compressed washer is able to handle the constant vibration of the small gasoline engine without losing the seal between the screw or bolt and the housing. Typically these lock washers only need to be replaced when they are misplaced during repairs or when the screws that attach them have to be chiseled or cut away, meaning the washers are destroyed as well. These OEM certified replacement washers have been manufactured to the same specifications as the originals they are replacing. In addition to lawn mowers, lock washers of this type and size are frequently used on blowers, lawn tractors, cultivators, snowblowers, and trimmers. Brands compatible with this type of washer are Murray, Husky, Poulan, Bolens, Yard-Man, Cub Cadet, Troy-Bilt, Yard Machines, MTD, and Ryobi.

This is an idler pulley assembly for a snowblower or tiller. The idler pulley works together with other pulleys to drive the belt system in an engine. It regulates the belts connecting to the crankshaft to produce movement in various engine accessories. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually. This part is compatible with Craftsman, Cub Cadet, Huskee, Troy-Bilt, and Yard Machines. Over time, the pulley components wear down and begin to slip. Damaged bearing devices can also cause wear on the pulley, causing the engine to fail. To replace an idler pulley in a snowblower, remove the ignition key and disconnect the spark plug. Using a socket wrench, remove the mounting bolts securing the belt cover. If required, loosen the tension. Use a ?-inch socket to remove the lower bolts. Pull off the cover and use the wrench to remove the bolt from the pulley. Remove the old part and transfer the bushing into the new part. Position the new pulley, thread the bolt, and tighten. Per model, either realign the auger drive linkage on the bolt and slide on the push nut to secure, or realign and reset the tension spring. Then, recover and reattach.
Replace a damaged, stripped, or missing hex screw on lawn mowers, tillers, or snowblowers. This fastener secures panels and components together.
This is a replacement hex screw sourced from the manufacturer. The hex screw is used in numerous machines, including lawnmowers, tractors, and tillers.Hex screws will be subject to normal wear like any other part. They should be inspected every year before using the equipment for rust or to see if any have fallen out or broken off. If any extra motion from the deck or the engine is noticeable, check the screws to ensure they don't need to be tightened. Failure to do so can cause damage to mower and cause other parts to need replacement. Before checking the screws, make sure the mower has cooled off to avoid burns. They can be tightened with a rachet or an adjustable wrench. The hex screw is a genuine OEM replacement part. It is designed to be used with Craftsman, Troy-Bilt, Cub Cadet, MTD, Yard Man, and other brands.
