I have a Jennair jjw9630cas double wall oven, and after a few years I noticed that the light would not go out, first in the bottom oven, and then in the top oven. I determined my thermostat was defective, ordered the thermostat which arrived in two days and I replaced the thermostat and I now have a full bin of ice !!! • Freezer not defrosting

I took the bottom tray out of the freezer and found the coils iced up severely. I was reasonably sure the defrost timer was the problem and your tech said that was a good possibility. Ordered and replaced timer. (15 minutes) Problem fixed!!! Saved purchasing a new fridge at big bucks. We live over 40 miles from a service center so the cost of having a tech come out is astronomical. Thanks!!! Read more

Replaced the water tube that went from the plastic tubing to the ice cube tray. Found that even though it was the same exact length as the original, there was only an extremely small gap from the end of the tube to a splash board. This may have been the root cause of my problems. Read more

It was a relatively easy fix and the video instructions on this site provided were helpful. The one piece that wasn't clear is the alumilastic was already on the replacement part so a separate tube is not required. That wasn't clear on the video and was an unneeded expense. Read more
