My wife was using the oven and she shouted "emergency, oven fire" as i was half asleep in the reclining chair (I will be 86 in Oct.) Replaced the burner Infinite switches for the burners having the issue. Here are the latest part numbers for this model Maytag. Left rear (LR) and right rear (RR) burners are both 6" and use the same switch. Part # WP3149404. Left front (LF) is an 11 1/2" burner Part# W10167742. The right front (RF) burner is a double burner 6" center and 9 1/2" outside burner Part #WPW10149355. Very simple repair. Took the stove apart*, saw where the mouse had made a nest. It was kind of like a hotel room after a rock star had used it. It was nasty, is what I'm saying. I removed the insulation, which immediately went into a garbage bag and was placed outside, whereupon I took off and nuked the site from orbit. I ordered the bake unit from appliancepartspro.com; while ordering, I decided to go ahead and replace the oven broiler burner as well. Appliancepartspros.com's videos helped me replace the parts with ease. It took barely 30 minutes to install both. Plus, very fast shipping and correct parts. I looked inside and saw the teeth were worn off the "dogs" so I purchased the Cam Agitator repair kit and a new bolt. Getting the old bolt out was the hardest part since it was worn and rusted. I ended up having to buy a set of socket extensions and a set of stripped bolt sockets so $45 in tools and it took me an hour to get the old bolt out but putting everything back together was a breeze.
