The amount of water being dispensed into the ice cube tray was excessive, causing overflow of the tray. The water then ran into the collection bin and even down the side walls of the freezer creating a huge block of ice in the bin, and ice all over the lower shelves as well. The blower motor that circulates air through the refrigerator was broken. I had to remove all the shelving and drawers from the refrigerator. Then I had to remove the plastic light cover from the center of the fridge. Then I removed all visible screws to uncover the evaporator/radiator. I then unplugged the light bulb and motor wires. Removed refrigerator panel, disconnected light and fan power. Removed fan assembly and replaced motor, grommets and fan attachment spring. Unit had adhesive on spring to help hold the spring. Chatted with customer service and clarified that spring and fan would easily pull off motor shaft. Adhesive probably was extra measure used during original build of the fridge. Noise was due to fan rubbing on housing. New fan position set to avoid any rubbing. Read more
