Removed door from hinge best to use putty knife to push on clips to remove inner seal but broke clips anyway. Remove screws and pry clips to remove metal inner frame to access screws for handle. Read more
Watching some helpful do-it-yourself hints on Vidoes. Had to disasemble the door, because the screws for fastening the handle where hidden behind the inner part of the door. Videos did not show the step of unscrewing 6 tiny gold colored screws that held the door assembly together. Then used a screwdriver to pop off the plastic door cover with the window. The handle was easily and securely fastened into the plastic door cover. Just as a precaution, I disconnected the electric cord. ... Read more

Suspected Magnetron failure so I ordered replacement. Unplugged unit and let it sit for a couple of days. Removed it from the wall/range top mounting Removed cover. Unplugged terminals to capacitor; one at a time; carefully kept leads away from each other There were (4) main screws holding the magnetron in position; removed those. 14 year old GE Profile microwave wouldn't heat, but had power. Read reviews here. Ordered triumvirate of magnetron, capacitor, & diode. Was hoping not to need the capacitor as this was an expensive part; and if not needed to return to AppliancePartsPros, which has been SOP. Problem was the primary interlock switch. The switch checked OK for continuity but when installed and activated by the door closing, the switch would not close due to the over travel in the switch caused by the door lever. That would have been easy and inexpensive, however when attempting to disconnect RY2 while troubleshooting the top of the relay came out which was impossible to reassemble.
