Ordered Bake Element, Y04100019 (Whirlpool AP4283614) to replace a broken bake element on my 30-year old Jenn-Air Model S125 Downdraft Slide-in electric range. Received the element very quickly but it had been damaged in shipping. Called AppliancePartsPros to report this and they quickly shipped another element - very easy process. To install the element, I turned off the power to the range, put on rubber gloves (just in case) and removed the two sheet metal crews at the rear of the oven -... Read more

Bought and installed new hinges. Repair took about an hour but I also cleaned all the glass inside and out on both oven doors. I had ordered extra screws as I read the old ones that hold the hinges were hard to get in as they were self taping but the screw labeled 5 next to the hinge were not the right ones. All old screws worked fine. You just need to put a little power to them to get them started. Easy repair. Read more

This Oven Bottom forms the floor of a gas oven cavity. Positioned above the bake burner, it shields the burner/igniter from spills while providing a smooth, removable surface that helps direct heat and is easier to clean.
I ordered the new oven bottom from Appliance Parts Pros and within three days I had a brand new oven bottom. Took the old one out, the new one fit superbly. The next time I will definitely put foil or an oven liner on the bottom rack to catch the drips from the pies as the Aqua-lift cleaning system on the Whirlpool oven did not do the job. Read more

I ordered the replacement part and undid two screws on the front of the cooktop then used a nut driver to undo the clamps holding the burner in.I took a picture of the wiring then used needle nose pliers to gently pull the connectors off the terminals. reinstalling you just line up the new burner with the old one and screw the clamps back on. there are no predrilled holes the screws just bite into the insulation. Troubleshot the oven by checking the broiler which worked good (same fuel valve). After reading the some tips about troubleshooting the Glow Ignitor I could see the broiler ignitor got white hot and the oven ignitor only got bright orange (orange to red causes intermittent ignition or mini explosions). Watched the how to video and it was good information. You should be observant about which openings in the back of the oven as to where the two wires are coming out of. My oven is over 12 years... I ordered a new door glass from appliancepartspro.com it came within two days, but I forgot to order the 8 pieces of foam tape, assuming it would also be included in with the order, it wasn't, so after waiting for that to arrive, it was fairly easy, job after watching the video. However, the video doesn't tell you the painted side goes on the inside, or that the single sided foam tape goes on the top, and the double sided foam tape goes on the sides, I figured that out from the diagram on my... Purchased the triple burner and dual burner element. I added my model of stove and I was able to pull up diagrams of the stove parts. The parts were easy to find using the diagrams and the burner elements were marked 17 & 15 so I placed my order. Parts were here in a couple of days. The tricky part was figuring out how to get into the stove top. I was a few youtube videos to see different replacement. My husband and I got the stove top off and flipped it over on the counter. We looked at... Read more

I did some research on the internet to find the part I needed. I came upon your web site Applianceparts pros.com and watched you videos. After watching your video on how to replace the broiler element, I ordered the broiler element. It came in a few days. I replaced the broiler element with my 12 year old son's help (always use every opportunity to teach my kids) in 50 minutes. Plugged the oven and turned on the broiler. As my 12 year old said "it works." Thank you for the easy how to... Read more
This 10-32 terminal block nut fastens wire lugs to the appliance's terminal studs. Replacing a missing, stripped, or corroded nut restores a tight, reliable connection and helps prevent heat damage or intermittent power at the connection.
The oven temperature was low and the heating time excessive. However, the range display showed the requested 400F, even though the oven was really 250F. Because the oven displayed an inaccurate temperature, I ordered an oven sensor, a heating element, and a terminal block. Replacing the heating element fixed the problem. The element I received was the same shape and size, but the supports were not the same. However, I think it must have been a design change after mine was manufactured... Read more

This worked perfectly. We were quoted $350 for the part and another $100 for the labor. We are selling our house so didn't want to get a new oven for $1000. Super easy for the hubby and I to switch this part out. Oven works fine again! :D Read more

A shoulder screw that secures appliance components and provides a precise pivot or spacer point. Replaces a missing or worn screw to restore alignment, reduce rattling, and keep panels and assemblies securely in place. What it does:
I had to remove the oven door, which I learned is made to come off without tools. Then took out the bottom by removing two screws and lifting. Removed the screws attaching the igniter, pulled wires thru back until I could get the connector and disconnect. When the new igniter arrived, I had to change the connector. I cut the one off the old one, and spliced to the new one using solder and shrink tubing. Just reverse the procedure to install. I replaced the screws with new ones. Read more
