Burner won't heat or cycles on and off? This infinite switch controls temperature levels on electric range surface elements. DIY repair in 10 minutes.
I ordered the correct part from AppliancePartsPros.com. When I received it, I opened the package and identified the parts I would need for my application. I cleaned up around my work space, then turned the power off to the appliance. I removed all the burners to get to the mounting screws for the range top. I then lifted the range top and supported it so I could see what I was working on . I first inspected all the wiring for breaks, or fraying. Then I moved on to the switch. Two screws... Read more

Replacement door hinge for dryers. Secures and aligns the door to the cabinet. Replace if cracked, broken, sagging, or causing door misalignment.
I ordered the hinge on the weekend and it came on Tuesday in the late Morning. I loved how quick it arrived. The swap out of the part took 10 minutes using a batter powered driver, a #2 Phillips tip and a T-25 tip. If you use hand tools, it will take a few minutes longer. If I would have realized how easy it was, I would have replaced it when it started sagging instead of waiting for it to break. Read more
Front drum felt seal prevents clothes from catching between the drum and dryer interior. Replace if worn or damaged. Confirm fit with your model number.
Took the whole dryer apart to access the wheels (4) of them, belt and fan wheel, also had to clean all the lint out that somehow builds up inside the dryer. Plus cleaned out dryer duct vent, added to the time involved. If you are planning on fixing the dryer because of a noise which was in my case, I highly recommend buy all the parts for complete maintenance mentioned above. What helped save me time? I watch a dryer fan wheel replacement training video first, highly recommend this!... Read more
This electrical connection kit provides secure terminals where your range's surface heating elements plug into the cooktop. It ensures proper electrical contact and power delivery to the burners. Replace when burner elements don't heat properly, connections appear burned, or elements won't stay securely in place.
Full disassembly of removable tray into top plate (stainless) and lower pan taking care not to loose fasteners. Removal of terminal blocks using lubrication on rusted screws and, if necessary, drill out technique. Unclip wires from edges of the tray on both sides without losing the clips for future re-use. Top plate is now completely free of connections and may be cleaned/scrubbed separately in advance of re-assembly. Unfasten spade insulation block (located in the front of the tray) after... Read more
Dryer won't shut off or advance through cycles? A faulty timer prevents automatic cycle progression. Moderate DIY repair restores timed operation.
Replaced timer, thermostat, a thermal fuse, the pair of thermal cutoff switches and finally the heater element. Hard to say what the final fix was that did the trick -- I am guessing it was the heater element although the old one appeared to have good continuity. All praise goes to the on line chat Pros Erica B and Robin C that took considerable amount of time and effort to help me decipher the problem. For that alone, Appliance Parts Pros will be my go to source for appliance parts for the... Read more
This is a decorative bezel that surrounds the door catch on the front of the dryer. It provides a finished appearance around the latch opening where the door engages to stay closed. Replace this bezel if it is cracked, broken, or missing, which can affect the door's ability to latch securely or leave an unfinished look on the dryer front.
Followed the video - easy! I’ve used Appliance Parts Pros multiple times for multiple issues and appliances. My go to place, videos are AWESOME! Read more
This is a control knob used on dryers, typically for the timer or cycle selector. It attaches to the timer shaft and allows you to select drying cycles and settings. Replace this knob if it is cracked, broken, or if the D-shaped mounting hole has worn out, causing the knob to spin freely without engaging the timer shaft.
I followed YouTube for instructions. Had a slight problem removing stems, but got it done. Read more

Replace your dryer drum belt when clothes stop tumbling or you hear squealing. This 79-1/8" belt wraps around the drum and motor to rotate clothes evenly.
I used the web site to figure out the most likely causes for the drum not turning. I watched the web site's videos to see what I would have to do and thought it wasn't too bad; something a rookie could do. Ordered the parts (belt and idler arm) and followed the directions from the videos. Mostly a bunch of screws/bolts to remove with a couple in difficult places. (my dryer isn't full sized) There were some electrical connections to take apart. As i disassembled it, I took pictures of where... Read more
The heater box houses your dryer's heating element and screen. Replace this component when rusted, corroded, or the screen is damaged causing snags or stains.
Replaced the heater tube. Had to open the back up, removed the heating element and then replaced the heater tube. Then I put it all together again and everything is fine now. Read more
Replaces worn dryer front bearing and seal that cause squealing or scraping noise. Essential for smooth drum rotation. Confirm fit with your model.
After having replaced the drum support rollers twice in a roughly 3yr period, I realized something wasn't quite right, and indeed it wasn't. I had been ordering the wrong parts - I did use the online parts locator after checking, & double checking my model number. Apparently my older Whirlpool dryer has a somewhat ambiguous model number because the rollers that were shipped each time looked nothing like the originals. I realize that is not particularily uncommon - manufacturers often modify... Read more
This small spring clip secures the top panel of the dryer to the cabinet frame. It snaps into place to hold the top firmly shut during operation. Replace this clip if your dryer's top panel feels loose, pops open during use, or won't stay latched when closed.
