The fix for this is easy, & quick. It required a phillips screwdriver. UNPLUG the stove! Remove the oven control panels top & bottom two screws. Remove the control knob & the two retaining screws securing the faulty control from the panel. Swap each individual set of wires from the old one, to the new control terminals & remount it, the panel, & knob.
