Removed the old Articulating Mullion Assembly (part number WR17X25027) by removing two screws, sliding the assembly up and disconnecting the wires (plug). Reversed the process with the new Articulating Mullion Assembly. Read more

Swapped out with a new valve, took about 2 minutes and just a small nut driver (crescent wrench, socket or even pliers would have worked fine). Easiest repair I've done. Read more

First let me say that we have been having a warm ff section since this refrigerator GE Mod GFE27GGDEWW since new. It was purchased in July of 2014, three repair under warranty,-thermistor,mother board, and a shrug of the shoulders, nothing wrong. the ff fan started making noise last week, and after doing some research saw that GE has a service bulletin REF03-18 updating the fan to WR60X29099. the install went well. new fan is quiet, seems to have more flow, but the ff section is still warm.The... This Maytag dryer was bought in 1985 if memory serves. It has worked hard with few repairs done by yours truly over the years. Thanks to the engineering and excellent design by Maytag staff, removing parts are relatively easy. Once I opened the unit, I found it to be full of lint. After having replaced the drum support rollers twice in a roughly 3yr period, I realized something wasn't quite right, and indeed it wasn't. I had been ordering the wrong parts - I did use the online parts locator after checking, & double checking my model number. Ordered valves and new ice maker. Couple sites mentioned problem could be ice in the waterline and to make sure temps be set to 37 in frig and 0 in freezer. I had adjusted temps to these the day I ordered parts. Parts arrived a couple of days later so I opened up the ice maker and found the ice bin to be full! Guess the temp adjustment worked. Replaced both The electrical board I found under the fridge was very easy to replace. The fan motor took a minute to bed puns and the biggest challenge was taking off/on the back panel to get to it. (By the way it was located in the freezer section. take drawers out to get to it. Read more
