Replaces missing, stripped, or rusted 8-18 thread screws that secure dryer panels, brackets, and components for tight, rattle-free assembly.
It was easy to find the part on appliance parts pros. Once I found it I studied the diagram and determined that there were 3 screws in the drum that needed to be removed. I disconnected power and then removed 3 interior screws. Once I did that I removed the back cover and removed the single screw on the bottom side of the air duct that held it in place connected to the heat tube. I then reversed disassembly. I want to tell you this is a 2 person job. In order to assemble it you need to... Read more

I ran my washer until I started to see the leak coming from underneath. Water was accumulating in the drawer pedestal, it was leaking from the front of the washer so I thought it was the front door seal. I also noticed it would leak even when the washer was not being used so I doubted it was the door seal. I googled the leak problems and watched a few videos which gave me confidence on washer disassembly. With the top panel off I noticed the leak coming from the water inlet assembly. Appliance Parts Pro’s had the part and replacement video and I replaced the part... Read more
Fix E53 errors, no spin, or drum not moving. This motor control board restores washer operation. DIY repair in 45 minutes with our installation video.
After taking the top off the washer I found the Tech Data Sheet ( for repair person ) The E53 code was listed as Low Voltage to the motor board and referred me to test #15. Which stated to check the "drum water NTC" ( Negative Temperature Coefficient or Thermistor). What was misleading was that there are 2 NTC's. If your washer has a "Sanitize" feature , then there is a drum water NTC as well as one on the fill valve body. IF you have the sanitize feature then you need to replace the drum water... Read more

Replaces the cracked or broken outer door panel on your washer. Restores door alignment and supports the glass. Fixes broken hinge tabs or worn trim.
First problem was figuring out the correct part to order. I went to the Frigidare website for help there. The door was sandwiched in several layers. The part that broke was of course the plastic one. The door was poorly designed having a piece of plastic support heavy glass and metal! My brother, an engineer actually did the repair as it required three people to install the reassembled door. It is easy to reassemble, but key was the four white plastic "sleeves" that were recycled back into the... Read more

Googled the problem, watched videos on Youtube. Took apart machine and tried cleaning filter most people said was the problem. Wasn't anything but a penny in it so that wasn't the problem. I decided the pump must be bad ,the spring for the bellows and the console were broken so I bought those as well. Got the parts put them on and machine filled up with water turned over a few times and then stopped. The only thing else it could be is the fill level sensor or the main circuit board. Ordered...
