The Door Handle is an OEM part for Frigidaire ovens. It is designed to provide a secure grip for opening and closing the oven door. This handle is white in color and 29" in length. Please note, the mounting screws are not included with the handle.

After doing some research the problem appeared to be the door safety switches. I ordered 3 new ones to replace all the original ones. Some minor disassembly of the microwave front was required to reach the fuse and switches. To reach the switches the control panel wires needed to be unplugged and the panel removed. It took a long time to determine the problem but eventually I discovered that the plastic bracket (latch hook) that held the three door-switches showed appreciable wear from repeated door openings and closings. This wear stopped the door from sealing properly and the door switch safety mechanism blew the line fuse.
