Noise was coming from dryer rotation so I checked in to what it was. Found out the drum gasket had a tear in it causing the drum to "skip a beat" during operation. I entered the washer's "symptoms" into the computer and a short video diagnosed it perfectly. There was also a video showing step by step instructions on how to replace it. Due to manufacturer changes, the idler assembly is no longer included. If needed use part number DC93-00634A. For the motor bracket only use part number DC61-01213A.
At first I thought it was the dryer belt. The drum would spin freely with no resistance. I went to Youtube to find a instructional video on how to change the belt. After a few short steps on had access to the dryer belt. To my dismay it wasn't the belt at all. I realized after doing a quick inspection that the idler wheel used to put tension on the belt had broken and was causing the issues.
