Ice dispenser not working or making noise? This motor powers the auger that delivers ice. Moderate DIY repair with video guide. Fits many models.
The auger would not turn the dispenser because the screw threads were stripped. I could not re-thread it so I had to replace the entire motor assembly. The video your company provided was extremely helpful not only for fixing the problem but to give me the confidence to do it myself. It was a very detailed video that included all the safety instructions. Read more

Fix frost buildup and warm fridge issues with this adaptive defrost control board. Solves freezer icing and defrost cycle failures. Moderate DIY repair.
The 20 year old unit still serves us well, looks good and has been kept in good repair. The condenser fan had stopped so I removed, cleaned and oiled that motor. The decision was made to make an upgrade to the evaporator motor and control units so that the appliance could reasonably be expected to have extended service life. The Ice maker module had been replaced 7 years ago. I ordered the parts and have made the upgrade for temperature controller and the defrost control. If you are in a... Read more
Ice not dispensing or only partially crushing? The ice dispenser auger moves ice from bin to chute. DIY-friendly repair, typically 30 minutes.
Had to replace the auger. The auger on my ice maker was made of plastic and had broken pieces off it. The new one is made of metal and seems to work much better. Was a fairly simple repair. However pay close attention when disassembling, I recommend using your cell phone and snap a pic of the different stages as I became a little confused when putting it back together. Ordered the part and it was here the next day. I'm very happy to have my ice coming down the chute again. By the way, I'm a 70... Read more

It provides a stable mounting point that holds the shelf securely in place. Replace this stud if it is cracked, broken, or missing, causing shelves to sit unevenly or fall out of position.
My Whirlpool fridge is 12 yrs old. The crisper drawer supports finally gave up. I googled the make and model number for repair parts and AppliancePartsPros.com came up. I was actually surprised that I found the support peg and stud. I watched the video on their site on how to replace them, saw that it was easy and ordered the parts that afternoon. To my utter amazement the parts came via FedEx the following afternoon! I have to admit if I didn't watch the video I wouldn't have known how... Read more

After shopping for a new Whirlpool Thin Twin Stack, Found appliance parts pros online and decided to take it apart to see if repair was a possibility. Mounting bracket that secures the ice maker assembly to the refrigerator wall. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing to restore proper ice maker support.
Replaced the ice maker. The kit came with everything I needed to replace the ice maker. Parts that did not come with the kit were re-used from the old one. My Whirlpool refrig/freezer is an older model so the wiring harness that came with the kit was different from my existing. So instead of disconnecting the ice maker wiring harness from the freezer, I had to disconnect the harness at the ice maker. That was a b..... Anyway after about 20 minutes, finally unhooked the connector. I had... Read more

I decided if one needed replacing I might as well both two--made sense to me. None were available locally so I ordered them on-line. Surprisingly they came sooner than I expected. I also found a video on the internet that clearly showed the procedure. The actual repairs took 15 minutes or less.
