The part just snaps on the basket. You have to remove the clips on the end of the runner arms to be able to remove the basket. Once it was out the old arm snap off and you snap on the new arm. Only problem was my old arm was fine and I wished the company would just sell the gasket. It seems a waste to have to purchase the whole arm. Took cover completely off and tried putting back, could not match up left screw with available screw hole. Tried many different configurations and sequences to make this happen. watched a video on changing the front panel, the door in it had four screws, mine 2, no help there. Searched on the hyperextending issue, found an article about dogs and kids [had both here] climbing on the door and to check the springs and linkages. • Will not fill with water

Replacing the inlet valve solved the problem. The old valve was somehow clogged with white sediment. I probably could have taken it off and cleaned it out if I'd known, but replacing the valve was much easier. Took about half an hour to repair. Video walk through was extremely helpful.
