Range door handle that mounts to the oven door front panel. Replace if your handle is cracked, broken, or missing for safe access to your oven interior.
Just screwed on the new handle. The new handle did not come with threaded holes, but this was OK because the screws that came with the stove were self tapping. We ordered a new ignitor and it came in two days just as promised. The only problem that we experienced was that the leads on the new ignitor were to short. We were able to find enough slack on the oven end to make it work. The oven is once again working great. The video was a little off on what need to be done to disconnect the ignitor. Replace a gas range burner valve that's broken, stuck open, or causing hard-to-adjust flames. Moderate DIY repair requires raising the stovetop.
After turning off the gas and unplugging the electricity, I removed all the burners from the stove top using a 3/16" hex socket. Then used a 1/4" socket to removed two or three screws under each burner which hold the burner base to the bottom of the top panel. Then pulled all the knobs and removed the front panel which was held in by two Phillips screws accessible from underneath the panel. It helps to open the oven door to get at these screws.
