• Marks left on clothes

Searching for paddles or baffles led me to Appliance Parts. Discovered I didn't have to buy anything in order to view the video which is a pretty nice feature to see if my skills are up to it. "How in the world do I repair something without external screws?" Prior to ordering parts I had pulled the pump strainer basket and cleaned it out. There was both soft and hard scale build up. The tub-to-pump hose was also pretty crusty/slimey. Still got warnings for SUDS and repeated F02 errors. Ordered parts and replaced the pump, tub-to-pump hose, interior drain hose and exterior drain hose (both hoses has some slime build up). The water standing in the tub when I emptied it the first time had very little suds but we kept getting the SUDS warning. ... Read more

• Won't start

Replace the water temperature sensor and still had the error code. While I had the back of the machine open I ran the washer. I traced the black wires from the temperature sensor and wiggled them as the washer was running. At one zip tie every time i moved the wires the washer would stop running and the error code would flash. Sure enough, like many others posted, the vibration from the machine had split the wire. Several months back, I checked the supply hoses and replaced the hot water hose because of corrosion. The cold water hose was fine. I replaced the water inlet valve and that seemed to fix the problem, but after about a week, the problem resurfaced. New inner drum and front and rear outer drum; although other parts worked, still replaced the bellow and clamp, new door latch, and cleaned the hoses. Washer works great. Just like brand new. Even though matching dryer works, I am going to clean it up and replace some parts on it also. Read more

This was actually one of the easiest fixes I’ve done. All that was required was to remove 3 screws to remove the broken part. I used a pair of pliers to remove the moisture sensors from the broken part to the new one. Read more

I pulled the unit away from the wall and noticed black dust on the floor. Unplugged the unit, turned off the water. Removed back panel (about 10 screws with Torx heads) and noticed the belt was off, the drive pulley was loose and wobbling on the shaft, black dust all over the inside. Belt was worn along one side. Some grooves/damage in the outer drum casing around the pulley where it appeared the belt had rubbed. Removed the lower crossbar (2 more screws) to get better access to the drive... Read more

We started getting the F06 code when on the normal cycle it was time to Rinse/Spin, pointing to a speed/tachometer issue on the motor. After several attempts of unplugging from power and restarting the cycle it would eventually start working for the rest of the laundry session.
