Replacement slide rail for dishwasher upper rack. Installs on cabinet wall to guide rack in and out. Needed when original is bent, twisted, or broken.
Dishwasher needed new wheel that mounted to upper rack.There are 4 total that make the rack roll in and out. Replaced both side rails and rail caps (4- only 50 cents each) along with new upper rack that came with wheels installed. One side rail was bent so decided to spend a little extra and replace both. Mounts the mid-level spray arm to its supply tube. Replace if cracked, worn, or broken to keep the spray arm centered and spinning freely on the rack.
The middle sprayer sheared off our GE Power 3 dishwasher, ruining the hub in the process. We removed the rack from the dishwasher to make it easier to access the sprayer hub, otherwise it's awkward. The biggest challenge was finding the right tool in our garage (we used a 1/4" wrench as we did not have the right socket size). The video was very helpful. the hardest part is getting off old rusted parts. I had to use a hacksaw to remove one of the old clamps. I had to open the bottom of the washing machine to remove of the other clamp. Putting the new parts on was easy. Getting everything apart was a challenge. Ordered a new flood switch and activation stem from Aplliance Parts Pros.com. Order was delivered in about 3 days. Installed new switch and stem in about 15 min. Removed front kicker panel with two screws, the switch was just inside the panel secured with two screws. remove the electrical connector, removed screws, replace the two new parts..put the screws back in place and ran the washer...no overflows.
