This was a two and half year issue as different things failed at different times. I would get one part, then another would fail. The front wheel assembly replacement (WRXO2X12454) was straightforward and easy to do. Took maybe 30 minutes start to finish. The rear wheel assembly (wheel WRO2X10695 and axle WRO1X10604) that was more involved as the original wheel axle is actually a rivet that you have to cut out. 1. I used a vibrating multitool with a carbide blade to cut the axle out. Had to use a pair of vise grips to hold the rivet to keep it from spinning while cutting it. 2. First I ordered a new ice door seal, spring, and crank, figuring the condensation in freezer and door was caused by ice door not sealing. Turns out the solenoid for the ice door was completely rusted and was the primary cause, if it had been replaced early, it would have saved the dispenser board. Replaced the stripper and fill cup - turns out that the fill cup came with the locking tab broken off. The stripper had a missing paddle, and ice cubes would jam and shut down the ice maker periodically. Let the ice maker warm up after you remove it so the plastic is not so brittle. I replaced the supply line to the fridge - no change in taste. I replaced the MWF manifold and tubes, the water inlet valve and the water storage line. That did it, good tasting water again! Had some confusion of what part I needed, needed the one with the motor and thermostat. Fortunately, I've been fixing wiring for many years, I simply cut the new motor out of the harness, and used that nice glue-inside-heat-shrink tubing to seal the soldered 'Western Union' style splices. New light socket and lamps fit fine, worked fine, new motor is fine, problem resolved. When I took it apart I found that the drive cup was cracked, the helix lock plate hole was reamed out and the ice deflector spring was broken. The biggest problem was the helix had slipped down the shaft and allowed the end of the shaft to bore a hole in the housing which made it a bear to get out. Others have had the same problem. This evaporator fan motor dust cap is an authentic OEM replacement part found on refrigerator and freezer fan motors. This dust cap prevents the fan motor bearing and housing from being damaged by dirt and debris. If the dust cap is cracked or broken, the fan may make loud squealing noises.
