This was a two and half year issue as different things failed at different times. I would get one part, then another would fail. Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Ice jamming fill cup coming off   Mark H. • Glendale , AZ • February 29, 2016

Replaced the stripper and fill cup - turns out that the fill cup came with the locking tab broken off. The stripper had a missing paddle, and ice cubes would jam and shut down the ice maker periodically. Let the ice maker warm up after you remove it so the plastic is not so brittle. You have to pry the old stripper out. Make sure the new one locks all across the front. My refrigerator has the ice maker mount toe the side instead of from the hangers in back.
