Replacement drawer cover for refrigerator vegetable and deli bins. Replaces cracked, broken, or missing covers. Protects contents and seals drawer.
Our refrigerator takes care of my wife and I, along with our children when they visit, and the grand kids. Over the years, it's seen its fair share of wear and tear. Thankfully, nothing major has happened that hasn't been able to be repaired right here in the home, and by me. Our refrigerator is a GE side-by-side with an ice maker/water dispenser, and has held up well. I've ordered parts for it from AppliancePartsPros.com for all of its repairs, and while GE/Frigidaire have been changing out a... Read more

Stops refrigerator door from opening past 90 degrees. Mounts at base of door with screws. Replace if cracked, broken, or bent to prevent door overswing.
The fix involved removing the two bolts holding the broken door stop and bolting in place the new stop. Unless you take the door off, you have to work by feel due to the position of the door stop and the bolts holding the stop in place. A little patience is all that's required. A flip lock designed to keep kids out of cupboards is now in place so the damage won't reoccur. But if it does, its a quick, easy and inexpensive fix. Read more

Illuminates your refrigerator interior. Replace when burned out or flickering. Appliance-rated for durability. Verify wattage and base type match.
I changed the motherboard - computer and also changed the motor in the freezer, because it was doing a howling sound every time it turned on. The repair technician asked for $500 for a repair and that is on top of the $230 I paid him two days before. I looked up the parts and decided to try myself and it paid off. Great instructional videos. Thanks Read more
Fix a fridge that won't defrost properly, has non-working controls, or cycles between cooling and warming. This main control board regulates all functions.
I have troubleshooted a lack of defrost on a fridge via testing of the heating element, the thermal switch, the temperature sensor on the evaporator & the motherboard itself. Everything checked out except the motherboard. Ordered motherboard from Appliance Parts Pros with next day shipping & they did just that! Thank you, appreciate great support there. Once the board arrived in 20 minutes the refrigerator started operating as usual. Read more

Fix a refrigerator that won't cool, has no display, or stopped after a power outage. Main control board replacement restores automated cooling cycles.
Good ole Maryland with its 70 degree weather one day and a snow storm the next! 55 mph winds do not have any sympathy with above-ground transformers in a snows storm. The transformer blew - partially... then kept popping causing multiple surges to our homes AND electronics. Power was restored several hours later, however my fridge was not working. After I checked it out, I could see the burnt parts on the PCB board itself. I grabbed the part number and ordered the replacement PCB. When it... Read more

Freezer icing up or fridge won't cool? This electronic control board manages compressor, fans, and defrost cycles. DIYers report 5-10 minute installs.
After some simple troubleshooting, determined that it was likely the (rear) main control board. Once the new board arrived, it was installed in 5-10 minutes once the refrigerator was pulled out from the wall and the area cleaned up a bit. My only negative feedback was that delivery was too slow by today's standards. Fedex Post was used and in my experience it usually adds an extra 2-days compared to other ground shipping methods. The part was ordered on Sunday night. It shipped out of... Read more
Replaces broken or cracked door closure lever assembly in your refrigerator. Installs at base channel under kickplate to help doors close properly.
Replaced upper and lower thimble's, lever arm, cam closure. Door stop was not the problem, but ordered it and replaced it too. The door of course has to come off, remove the top hinge, and lift it away. Lubricated moving parts with silicone spray. Be sure and put the door back in the open position, so the lever arm and cam closure can properly interact, then close the door. Remove the plastic grate at the bottom to get at the lever arm. Presto. Problem gone. Don't put excessive weight... Read more
Seals freezer door to prevent frost buildup and air leaks. Replace if torn, warped, or causing moisture issues. Verify fit with your model number.
Ordered replacement seals for both freezer and refrigerator sides. Followed directions that I had found on YouTube. The installation in a nut shell is warm the seals in a bathtub with very hot water for at least 2-3hrs then place the seals. Then warm the seals with a hair dryer as needed. After getting the seals out of the hot bath the installation took all of 20-25 minutes for both seals. Read more
Replacement cold water reservoir tank for refrigerators. Installs behind the crisper drawer. Replace if cracked, leaking, or causing contamination issues.
I replaced the supply line to the fridge - no change in taste. I replaced the MWF manifold and tubes, the water inlet valve and the water storage line. That did it, good tasting water again! The ice still has a bad taste, so I'll replace the supply tube from the valve to the ice maker. Overall, replacing these parts was easy and the videos from Appliance Parts Pros helped. Read more

Replacement rear wheel for refrigerators. Mounts to the bottom rear frame to enable smooth rolling for cleaning and repositioning. Order if cracked or missing.
The front wheel assembly replacement (WRXO2X12454) was straightforward and easy to do. Took maybe 30 minutes start to finish. The rear wheel assembly (wheel WRO2X10695 and axle WRO1X10604) that was more involved as the original wheel axle is actually a rivet that you have to cut out. 1. I used a vibrating multitool with a carbide blade to cut the axle out. Had to use a pair of vise grips to hold the rivet to keep it from spinning while cutting it. 2. The new axle I drilled a 2mm hole thru the... Read more
