I took out the 2 door retaining bars by just lifting up on both side end caps. Pulled off the broken end caps, and attached the new ones onto the front retaining bars, then slid them down onto the holders at each side of the shelves. Now items can be placed on the shelves, and the items will be securely kept from falling forward off the shelves.
