Took top apart to find out that the problem was just the lens for the light was broken. Come to find out that the lens is what holds the light in place. Removed the front off the back panel, unplugged the old unit. Then using a blow dryer heated the old timer to peel the face /cover off and applied to the new clock. Plugged in the replacement clock.
