Rubber foot that attaches to the bottom of range cooktop grates. Provides stability and prevents scratching. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing.

After doing much research online, I found out that the Touchpad on the JennAir downdraft gas range JGS9900BDS is very prone to "breaking." Bought and installed new hinges. Repair took about an hour but I also cleaned all the glass inside and out on both oven doors. I had ordered extra screws as I read the old ones that hold the hinges were hard to get in as they were self taping but the screw labeled 5 next to the hinge were not the right ones. This is a blower wheel used in the downdraft exhaust ventilation system of a range or cooktop. It mounts on the motor shaft and draws smoke, steam, and cooking odors down and out through the vent ductwork. Replace this part if the exhaust fan is noisy, vibrating excessively, or not moving air effectively despite the motor running.
I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain.
