I ordered the replacement part; after it arrived, I turned off the power to the oven - watched the video on how to replace the part, which was fantastic as it told me to make sure when I disconnect the old element not to let the wires fall behind the oven (that would have been a big problem b/c it's a wall oven) - However, one wire still slipped back a little - so I used needle nose pliers to retrieve it. So, in the process of a kitchen remodel my GC managed to lose *both* of the rear plastic supports for my GE stove! The drawer was totally unsupported without the brackets. I managed to find them on your site and see that they were a new and better design (rear mount with screw vs side mount and no firm mounting). The install was a snap and the brackets work excellent. I was getting really frustrated with our oven. It would preheat to the correct temperature, then slowly lose heat until it was down to about 200 degrees. So it took about two hours to heat a pizza! Finally decided to repair the oven myself, rather than pay $300.00 to have a repair person come out. Ordered the replacement igniter from AppliancePartsPros.com, and it arrived in two days. I followed the instructional video on the AppliancePartsPros.com website, and it was going well until I... Read more

This 10-32 machine screw secures brackets, panels, and other hardware in cooking appliances. Replacing a missing or stripped screw restores a snug, rattle-free fit and keeps components aligned and safely fastened. What it does:
All of the information on the web repair sites said "replace the hinges as the springs are worn out." Didn't fix the problem. The top of the door still wouldn't seal, and the. Leaning latch wouldn't catch the door unless you pressed on the door. The inside panel of the door was fatigued. Too many turkeys were set on the door over the years. This leveling leg is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. Leveling legs are used on the bottom of stoves to correct imbalances on the cooking top caused by floors being unlevel. The leveling leg is threaded so that it can be adjusted up or down as needed. There are four holes for leveling legs on the stove's bottom. Each leg can be adjusted independently. If the legs are missing or lost, these replacements will help level the stove for more even cooking. When the stove is not level, the food inside pans will be unlevel and not cook evenly.Make sure the power is disconnected before installing the leveling leg. Tilt the stove back and place a chock underneath one side so that the leg can be screwed up or down as needed. Remove the chock and check for level. If the stove is still unlevel, repeat the procedure on the side that is not level. Continue to adjust until the stove is level. Restore the power to the stove. This leveling leg is a black part that is sold individually. It is designed for use on ranges manufactured by General Electric, Kenmore, and Hotpoint.
