Unplugged power cord. Removed the microwave from over the range. Removed vent and screws on of microwave, which allowed me to remove compartment containing sensor at upper left area of microwave. Removed clamp holding sensor. Removed and replaced sensor. Reversed process and reinstalled unit. Read more

Removed the dozen or so screws on the microwave cabinet housing (top & 2 sides). Removed the 2 screws from the assembly holder hut bracket and replaced the assembly holder nut with a new one and re-installed the 2 screws. Re-installed the dozen or so screws on the cabinet. Finally re-installed the microwave with the 2 new 3-7/8'" long bolts thru the kitchen cabinet. Read more
Connects the turntable motor to the glass tray in your microwave. Replace if cracked, broken, or worn to restore smooth rotation and prevent slipping.
Unplug your microwave. Took the screws off of the bottom of the unit with it still on the cabinet. The whole bottom panel swung down to expose the turntable motor. I took the power cable loose (just pull it off). It was one screw to take the motor out. Word to the wise: DON'T try to take the plastic coupler off before the motor. When I took the left side of the handle off I found the plastic piece that broke on the right side was about to break on the left side also. Main Fuse did not open, only fuse for high voltage section was opened. Prior to the fuse blowing a louder than normal hum was heard from microwave for 1-2 seconds prior. Easy fix is the high voltage capacitor, so first checked the voltage across the capacitor terminals to ensure capacitor was discharged. Typically should be reasonably discharged within 30sec-1min assuming drain resistor is still in place. Removed the high voltage cap, and checked the capacitance and did not get a reading....
