Ordered replacement lint screen. When it arrived, I took out the old one and put the new one in the dryer. I am extremely happy with the new lint screen. I tried to find one on Sears website but it was unavailable; it was wonderful to find your website and to find what I needed. The customer service representative was so helpful and pleasant! Whenever I need a replacement part for my 30+ year old washer or dryer, I will order it from you. Read more

First, I rooked on YouTube for a video on how to fix it. The video brought me to a very helpful video with a link to your website. We have had this dryer since we bought the house 10 years ago and the thought of buying something new, that wasn't made as well was a dreaded thought. I went on the website, entered the model number of my dryer and then a search link for a parts search. Not knowing the part number, I was able to find the exact thing I needed. It was amazing and so easy! Had... Read more

Replace the water temperature sensor and still had the error code. While I had the back of the machine open I ran the washer. I traced the black wires from the temperature sensor and wiggled them as the washer was running. At one zip tie every time i moved the wires the washer would stop running and the error code would flash. Sure enough, like many others posted, the vibration from the machine had split the wire. I spiced the wire back together and have not had a problem since. Read more

Replaces worn dryer front bearing and seal that cause squealing or scraping noise. Essential for smooth drum rotation. Confirm fit with your model.
After having replaced the drum support rollers twice in a roughly 3yr period, I realized something wasn't quite right, and indeed it wasn't. I had been ordering the wrong parts - I did use the online parts locator after checking, & double checking my model number. Apparently my older Whirlpool dryer has a somewhat ambiguous model number because the rollers that were shipped each time looked nothing like the originals. I realize that is not particularily uncommon - manufacturers often modify... Read more
This small spring clip secures the top panel of the dryer to the cabinet frame. It snaps into place to hold the top firmly shut during operation. Replace this clip if your dryer's top panel feels loose, pops open during use, or won't stay latched when closed.
Excellent! Repairs went as planned. Plus, they sent me a Wine voucher (my order was nearly $200). And, if you have trouble troubleshooting your appliance problem or figuring out how a part is supposed to be installed on your appliance, Appliance Parts Pros has an excellent video library to help you! If your dryer won't stay lit or shuts off after a few minutes, the gas limiter may be faulty. This regulator controls safe gas flow to the burner.
Removed LP Orifice and LP Gas limiter. Orifice was easy, however the gas limiter was the tricky one because I had no instructions to what went where. I could not find anything online as to how to convert from LP to Natural Gas, but you could find several things as to how to convert from Natural to LP. I ended up finding the Dryer schematic on line for the Whirlpool Duet natural gas dryer and was able to figure out what sequence the Spring, regulator and limiter went in. The order I just... This is a felt seal strip that attaches to the front bulkhead panel of the dryer where the drum meets the front of the cabinet. It creates a soft barrier that prevents heated air from escaping and keeps clothing from getting caught between the drum and the panel. Replace this seal if your dryer is taking too long to dry clothes, you feel hot air leaking from the front, or you hear squeaking or scraping sounds as the drum turns.
First I watched videos about squeaking Kenmore dryers. Then I used that information to open the dryer, diagnosing the fact that the roller on the drum belt tension arm had broken and actually fallen off the arm. The dryer was filled with lint and dust/dirt, so I also saw that the seals on the dryer had deteriorated greatly. AppliancePartsPros website is outstanding, far better than its competitors. This made it easy to find the parts and videos that I needed. It took hours to pull everything... Read more

This was actually one of the easiest fixes I’ve done. All that was required was to remove 3 screws to remove the broken part. I used a pair of pliers to remove the moisture sensors from the broken part to the new one. Read more
The washer is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool clothes dryers. This part is located on the drum roller support shaft in your dryer. The exterior of the washer is 1 inch in diameter with a hole in the middle and is made of metal. They are installed alongside the drum support rollers and idler pulleys. They help prevent the rollers and pulleys from bumping up against the brackets they are installed on. If you are replacing the rollers, we suggest you replace the washers at the same time. Connects the outer tub to the drain pump in your washer. Replace if cracked, leaking, punctured, or worn. Includes check ball housing for proper drainage.
Took the old part off and fitted the new one. I used the old plastic ball from the old hose and it worked fine. Next time I would replace the original clamp with a 4 inch hose clamp. The original clamp is way tooooooooooo hard to put back on....with a different clip it would be a 10 minute job at most. Read more
