Color: blue. It measures about 2 inches in diameter.
The repair took less than 5 minutes. It is too bad that just the rubber seal is not available. Seems wasteful to have to replace the whole tube when nothing else was wrong with it. We also needed a new cap for the jet dry container. The cap alone was not listed but I looked at caps that were available for other units and crossed it over. Read more

I looked inside and saw the teeth were worn off the "dogs" so I purchased the Cam Agitator repair kit and a new bolt. Getting the old bolt out was the hardest part since it was worn and rusted. I ended up having to buy a set of socket extensions and a set of stripped bolt sockets so $45 in tools and it took me an hour to get the old bolt out but putting everything back together was a breeze. I was very proud of myself, as a woman, that I fixed this problem myself and didnt have to pay a repair... Read more

Black access panel kit for dishwasher lower front area. Replaces missing, cracked, or damaged toe panel assembly. Secures under cabinet for finished look.
Kick plate was easy; screw holes in the wrong place, but used double-sided tape instead and worked great. Didn't need the extra screws ordered; it came with them. The roller spindles should be sent with a packet of grease. When replaced, the door was even louder than previous. Used candle wax on the spindles and it's quiet as can be now. Read more

Fix dishwasher not heating or melted terminals with this heater terminal nut. Secures the heating element wire connection to prevent arcing and leaks.
Replaced the heating element as shown in the video. Repaired a bad connector on the wire leading to the heating element. The clean light still flashed 3 times. Determined that the thermal fuse also needed to be replaced. Replaced the thermal fuse as shown in the video. The clean light now flashed 7 times which I discovered meant that the control panel needed to be reset. I then reset the control panel by pressing the buttons: normal, heated dry, normal, heated dry. It now works perfectly. Read more
This small plastic clip secures the tine row guards or protective caps on the dishwasher's upper or lower dishrack. It keeps the vinyl guard strips in place so they can protect dishes from scratching and prevent the rack tines from rusting. Replace this clip if the guard strips are falling off, sliding out of position, or if the original clip has cracked or broken.
I searched the model on Appliancepartspros.com and ordered the items needed with overnight shipping. My order came the next day :) All parts were in stock and came clearly labeled and orderly packaged. Within 10 minutes my dishwasher was back in business and I was one happy camper. I would order from here again anytime and attempt to fixt the issue myself. Much cheaper that having somebody come out, only to tell you that they have to order the parts and come back at a later time to fix the... Read more

Dishwasher leaking from bottom or making grinding noise? The sump housing often cracks or wears out. Moderately difficult repair, about 45 minutes.
I noticed the floor around the dishwasher was starting to get wet and warp the wooden floor. The chopper had gotten out of line and had cut a pinhole into the sump housing and the dishwasher was leaking badly. It was quite easy to repair. Just unhook the drain hose and the wire connectors, twist off the turbidity sensor and waste motor, pull out the shims and the whole assemple comes up and out. The hardest part was pulling the motor off of the assembly, since I wasn't sure if I needed to... Read more

Fix a dishwasher that won't start, stops mid-cycle, or has dim lights with a new electronic control board. Moderate DIY repair, 45-60 minutes.
Replaced control board. This project took about 45 minutes to complete. It helps if you have two people because at one point you need to squeeze 4 plastic clips. Also helps when switching wire from one board to the other. I am 71 years old and this was a very easy task. Read more
Standing water or dirty dishes? A clogged or damaged pump inlet screen blocks debris from the wash system. Simple DIY fix restores drainage and cleaning.
Looked at Dishwasher. Scratched head and armpit. Told wife I would fix, not repariman. Wife skeptical - shook head. Found schematic on web. Found YouTube video of guy repairing same DW model. Disassembled. Diagnosed problem. Chopper assembly welded in place by water scale -broke removing. Potty mouth. Ordered parts. Waited for parts. Washed dishes by hand. Wife doing ok. Parts arrived (in only a day or two!!! Fed Ex for 7 bucks!! Great deal). Put on nasty t-shirt, baggy shorts. ... Read more
Secures water inlet tubing to create a leak-resistant seal. Replace if cracked, stripped, or leaking at the connection. Verify fit with your model.
Dishwasher washer would not drain after hearing glass-like particles during the drain cycle despite trying to clean the cylinder filter. Originally suspected the drain motor was damaged. After watching a video on how to replace the drain pump, I carefully energized the dishwasher (from water and electricity) then removed the dishwasher to take a look. After removal of drain hose from the pump, discovered that drain hose was connected to water inlet assembly which also needed removal to... Read more
Dishwasher not heating or drying properly? This heater probe shield protects temperature sensors and nearby components from heat damage for accurate sensing.
A bit of searching on the internet narrowed the problem down to either the heating element or the control board. As I am not much of a diagnostician I decided to replace both. Along this same line, I would never have attempted these repairs if it hadn't been for the clear, easy to understand repair videos provided for each part. Further, my decision to do my own repairs was made easier because the prices of the parts was so reasonable. I took my time, reviewed the videos and replaced the... Read more
