Dispenser won't close or open? This detergent dispenser assembly fixes latching and release issues. DIY repair takes 20-30 minutes with basic tools.
I ordered a new soap dispenser and began a new venture in repairing my dishwasher. I turned off the breaker that suppled power to the unit. I removed all the T-15 torx screws from the inside cover except one, which my wife helped me hold in. This prevents the cover from dropping off. Then, after removing those two, we closed the dishwasher cover, and lifted off the outside cover. That being off, I saw the two wires connecting the dishwasher dispenser solinoid. Removed them. Notice, that one... Read more

As a homeowner, I love that I can just type my model number into Appliance Parts Pros website and find a listing/diagram of the entire unit. So when my dispenser on my dishwasher broke, I just ordered a new one. I use You Tube to watch videos on the specific repair, and then VOILA! I do the repair myself, saving at least a hundred dollars in a repair persons service call charge! While this repair was for my dishwasher, I've also fixed my washing machine, dryer, and steam humidifier. Read more

Dishwasher won't power on or display lights? This thermal fuse kit protects against overheating. Easy 10-minute DIY fix with video instructions.
I first verified the house panel circuit breaker was not tripped. It wasn't so I removed the bottom kick plate of the unit, using a circuit cricket I verified the power feed to the unit was live. The bottom kick plate had a trouble shooting guide in a plastic sleeve which I opened and reviewed. Based on information in there it appeared the TOC was likely the issue. (We recently lost power and used a stand by generator. Previously when we did the the dishwasher had a blinking LED on the... Read more
Roller and mount assembly for dishwasher racks. Allows smooth sliding for loading and unloading. Replace if worn, cracked, broken, or missing.
I was repairing my daughter's WDT730pahz0 Whirlpool dishwasher. The bottom dish rack set of wheels was very easy to install. The replacements for the upper set of wheels is different than the originals. In my opinion, the replacements are far superior to the original parts. The problem, as many have pointed out, is that there are no instructions on how to install the new parts. I worked for 15 minutes, attempting to put the pieces together and then install them on the dishrack. That was a... Read more

Fixes no heat during drying, wet dishes, or blinking sanitized light. This safety thermostat cuts power if water overheats. Moderate DIY repair.
Performed diagnostic tests. Had code for no heat. I performed a continuity check on the element and found it to be bad. The dishwasher is repaired for a fraction of the cost of what I would have paid a repair person to do the work. Read more

Funny, my husband did it. We have a service contract but you know how long that still takes. So he found the part at the bottom of the dishwasher and it had a number on it. He went to your site and and found the part. Yes it was a little cheaper else where like everything else but what the other sites didn't have he said was the video on how to do it. He explained he felt that takes money to produce so the few dollars more were worth it to him and he can be cheap. We had it in two days like you... Read more
