Fixes loose panels, rattling doors, or wobbly components caused by stripped or missing screws. Secures brackets, covers, and mounting hardware. Easy DIY.
Maytag Dishwasher (about 5 years old). Some of the buttons had stopped functioning. Then the Start button began choosing whether or not to work. Eventually it would not start at all. Upon removing the control panel, the first thing I noticed was that the brackets that hold the two lower screws were broken. (So this was the reason that the door was so hard to open from the time it was new.) I trouble shot the thermal fuse, the door-latch switches, and inspected the control board trying to find... Broken or loose dishwasher door handle? This replacement handle restores secure opening and closing. Straightforward 20-30 minute repair with screwdriver.
Had to remove the screws that hold the dish washer to the counter top by knocking them out of the counter top. After seeing how the door handle worked I will not have to do again as all you have to do to open is stick a long screw driver up inside and push the chip and it opens. Ordered handle installed it now everything works fine. $29.00 for little plastic handle seems quiet rediculous but Kitchenaid and parts direct where $39.00 so I guess I got a bargain. As for the tools you a trox driver... Read more

Provides pivot point for dishwasher door spring to reduce wear. Replace if door drops, slams, or balance is off. Confirm fit with your model number.
I ordered the parts, deciding that if one spring had broken, the other one should probably be replaced at the same time. I followed the suggestion of ordering the door spring bearing given on the ordering page, and since I had not yet pulled out the dishwasher, did not know that it was not used in this older model. However, the order arrived quickly (4 days), and they are genuine Whirlpool, made in the USA, parts. The access to the sides of the dishwasher where the springs are attached... Read more

Looked online for a replacement soap dispenser. Found one on several sites but The A.P.P. site showed the part on a Parts breakdown page and showed the part item number. and the actual part number. I ordered the part and expected the part to show up in about 5-7 days, as per the receipt. The part showed up in 2 business days. I installed the part and the dishwasher works as new. Thanks A.P,P. Lower dishrack assembly for dishwashers. Holds dishes during wash and dry cycles. Replace if cracked, rusted, tines broken, or missing. Includes wheels.
We moved into a home with a nice dishwasher but the bottom rack was useless without the tines. Local appliance dealer said it would be cheaper to buy a new machine, but this was a high end machine, just a bit dated. Found the replacement at Appliancepartspros.com and for 150.00 I now have a perfectly fine new "to me" machine! Read more

1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive. The plastic edge pieces for the lower seal were supplied with the kit, and they installed... Read more
