While at my sister's house, she showed me how to access & dismantle the housing unit on her dishwasher, thinking the issue might be from that area. So, when I came home, I opened up my housing unit and found that several of the screws had come out and the pump outlet seal was stretched out and partially outside of the unit itself. I ordered the parts, deciding that if one spring had broken, the other one should probably be replaced at the same time. I followed the suggestion of ordering the door spring bearing given on the ordering page, and since I had not yet pulled out the dishwasher, did not know that it was not used in this older model. Part was updated from original equipment (3 pieces) to a one piece tube. Snip the top of hanger loop then install. Just a couple minute job. Updated tube is much better than the original design. Read more

1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive. I replaced the fuse and that fixed the issue. However, the door handle broke when removing the front panel. I ordered replacement parts that worked perfectly. I would be remiss if I didn't give the APP's customer service a shout-out. I never got the parts that FedEx said they delivered.
