This is a rack adjuster mechanism that allows you to raise or lower the upper dish rack in your dishwasher. Figured it was either the capacitor and/or motor. Ordered both parts to be sure. tried changing the capacitor first; same problem. Replaced the motor (leaving the new capacitor in place).
