First I needed to replaced the timer. However that timer is no longer available. So I was not able to buy that part. A friend encouraged me to cross reference the part number. I did and I found another timer that claimed it would work on my machine. It looked very similar. I got the timer from you guys and put it in. 1. Sleeve for input, Injector valve, nozzle and seal for input fixed this problem. Probably the main part that was the trouble was a deformed Injector Valve which is a rubber tube with an internal retention groove at the wide part that grips the Nozzle. The Sleeve and the Nozzle are hard plastic parts that basically looked fine, but I replaced them anyway while I was in there. Replaced the pressure switch which only took about 15 minutes ,was a very simple operation. tube air was backordered till 10/16/15 so checked it and found it with gunk in it ,so cleaned it out and washer works fine. can cancel tube air as i will not need now thanks for information on what part to order was very helpful Read more

I decided to order the siphon break kit (siphon break, washer and clamp included), a new hose, and clamp (for the bottom hose connection) as the hose was original and well over 15 years old. I probably could have used the old clamp, but decided to get a new one in case there were problems with the old during removal. Removed the front panel and removed the screw from the console which revealed a broken plastic tab on the right side of the old injector. Replaced the old injector with the new one and that took care of the problem. Read more

I had a lot of problems removing the spin hub, I had to use an air impact wrench to un screw it even then it was very hard, it did not go easy with the hammer & pipe wrench as shown in the video. It was also very hard to remove the bottom spin bearing I had to cut the bearing retainer with a dremel tool so I could get my puller on it. One day my wife went to bake something and the bake/broil buttons as well as #3, #9, and oven light ceased to work. Local repair guy came by and wanted to charge $500 to fix it....YEAH RIGHT! Found the wonderful parts diagrams you most generously share online and a couple of YouTube videos . I determined it should be repairable. In my cast the agitator shaft was frozen (rusted) in place. I was very fortunate to have been able to eventually remove it with the use of a lot of BP penetrating oil and heat. Long and short the replacement parts fit perfectly and the washer is running like new. Special thanks to the online support make my repair possible. Read more

First replaced the drum rollers...that wasn't it..took dryer back apart and spun the belt tension wheel by hand (should have done this the first time I took the dryer apart) and it squeaked. so I ordered the full parts: wheel, idler arm, idler spring, arm sleeve, E ring..Put it back together and whoa..no more squealing!! I replaced the entire agitator (my appliance agitator could only be replaced in one part not the upper part only). It was super easy but one thing....the video on the website was not helpful because my maytag washer is older and does NOT have a screw down inside the agitator but has one 1/4 inch hex nut on the side down by the base. Good for me though because all I had to do was unscrew the nut, put the new agitator on, tighten the new nut and DONE!! Read more

The lid shut-off switch is located behind the lid How About That. I order the plastic ball the hold the lid in place plus the lid shut off switch. I watched the video that AppliancePartsPros.com has on how to replace the lid and the plastic balls. I removed the lid to get to the two philips head screws to remove that part of the shut-off switch. I took the new switch out of the package and compared it to the old switch.
