I removed the front panel and observed the heating element while running the dryer. It was cycling off every minute or so and staying off for several minutes. Even though it was likely the high temp cycling thermostat I replaced both the 14, and 15 cycling thermostats which I think are the original factory units. That makes them nearly 35 years old. Un plugged dryer. It was an easy fix, popped the top up. Removed the two screw that held the front on and also unclipped the door switch. Released tension that was on belt and removed drum. Removed old front slides cleaned up area and replaced them. Popped the ring that held the rear drum wheels and placed the new ones with a dab of grease. I took some part numbers from the underneath side of the burner along with the stove model number and entered them on the internet and luckily found the part that I was looking for - I purchased it and it was delivered very quickly (faster than I expected). I took pictures of the burner before taking it apart and then removed the broken burner and replaced it with the new burner, put all the other parts back together and it worked perfectly the first time I turned it on.
