Plastic clip that secures tine rows to the lower dishrack. Replace if broken, cracked, or missing to keep tines stable and dishes properly positioned.
I didn't use any tools. I pulled the lower rack out of dishwasher, studied the clip opposite side of tines (still working), and based upon observation, installed replacement part. Without the new clip the tines wouldn't stay secure to hold dishes in place. My only issue is the online schematic illustration. Because I couldn't tell from the illustration, exactly what I needed, I over-ordered replacement parts. I decided to keep the extra parts - just in case! any type of service call would have... Dishes not drying or water not getting hot? Your dishwasher heating element may have failed. Moderate DIY repair, 1-2 hours with cabinet removal required.
The dishes were not drying on our 5yr old LG dishwasher. After removing the front door cover, I verified that the blower motor was operational and the vent was not blocked. I removed the diswasher from the cabinet, accessed the heating element from the bottom of the unit, and found the heating element did not have continuity. The part was ordered on a Sunday, and was at my doorstep on Tuesday at 5:00pm. Reasonable price and great service! After installing the new heating element, the... Read more

Replacement silverware basket for your dishwasher's lower rack. Holds cutlery during wash cycles. Replace if cracked, broken, or has holes in bottom.
We knew at least one door hinge cable assembly or hinge spring was broken (the door started falling down rapidly and became heavy to close) so we ordered two of each since we had read to go ahead and replace the damaged items on both sides. While we were waiting on the order, the other side must have broken-the door became incredibly heavy and instead of falling open, started crashing down unless it was carefully lowered. We feared it would fall on one of our animals and kill them. We did not... Read more

Fix a dishwasher that won't start or has a cracked, blinking, or unresponsive control panel. This assembly restores cycle selection and display functions.
When I ordered the control board the young lady told me that I had to take the front off the dishwasher. I did exactly as she said and started to put the new control board on. I could not unplug from the old one and finally my son came by and did that. I then put everything back together and turned it on. IT WORKED. Thank you. I should probably tell you that I am a 75 year old woman and if I can do it, anyone can. Read more
Prevents water leaks by sealing the dishwasher door. Replace if you notice moisture escaping or reduced cleaning performance. Confirm fit with your model.
Fix NE or UE error codes with a new door position switch. Detects door closure to ensure safe operation. Moderate difficulty repair, about 1 hour.
This was a very simple repair. It was done in about an hour. It involves disconnecting the dishwasher, emptying the water from the inside, taking it out and flipping it over, and replacing the diverter motor. This repair is done on the underside of the dishwasher, nothing to disconnect inside (just remember to remove the baskets). It would be wise to order the motor seal and micro switch that goes with it as they are all cheap parts and easy to swap out during the procedure. Be sure to take... Read more
Fixes water leaking from door vent during wash cycle. This blower motor assembly distributes heated air during drying. DIY repair takes 20-30 minutes.
The solenoid that opened the air vent for drying was broken so it was open during the wash cycle allowing water to escape into the air duct. Found the part at SearsParts and AppliancePartsPro, and Sears was $15 more expensive. I ordered on Friday from AppliancePartsPro and selected standard shipping and the part arrive the next day (Saturday). Amazing service. AppliancePartsPro will be my first stop in the future. (the seal that connects the bottom of the door to the big inside pan of the dishwasher) Next time I will order the rubber flange and the metal frame/rod/structure and the little white/yellow plastic slips on the end as one assembly, The door seal/gasket under the door by itself is... Fix IE error codes and water leaks with this dishwasher water inlet valve. Moderate difficulty repair requiring dishwasher removal and front access.
The insulation in my old Ohio house is terrible, and the Valve Assy, Inlet part under my dishwasher must have froze and burst when the temperature outside got below 0. I ordered this part here, and literally got it the next day. Awesome. The how-to video on the site was perfect. Not only did I replace the part in about an hour, but I saved ~$200 by canceling my LG service repair appointment. Read more
