This was a very simple repair. It was done in about an hour. It involves disconnecting the dishwasher, emptying the water from the inside, taking it out and flipping it over, and replacing the diverter motor. This repair is done on the underside of the dishwasher, nothing to disconnect inside (just remember to remove the baskets). I remove the dishwasher laid it on it's backside, took off the bottom panel everything was easy to access. while I had the dishwasher out I just decided to replace the motor as well, I've noticed in the past the motor had been making some abnormal noises.Only reason I knew it was the motor making noise is because I own the same dishwasher, the repairs I just made were on my moms dishwasher, she's owns the same exact dishwasher as I do. After three years of owning my LG I had to replace the... Read more

I bought a new controller first and installed it. The exact replacement controller was no longer available and I had to modify two AC connectors that changed from 3 pins with two wires to two pins with two wires. This was not expected but I made it work just fine by getting the three pin connectors on the cable to fit the two pin by breaking out the center web in the board two pin and then shaving off the raised key plastic on the wires. Then on power up, I found that the wash motor did not... Read more

First determined drain discharge hose was clear. Turned of power to dishwasher. I did not find it necessary to remove the dishwasher. I simply removed the lower service panel at the floor and was able to easily remove the defective pump, unplug it, replace the small rubber check valve flapper before the pump inlet and reinstall the new pump assembly. The dishwasher surprisingly cleans and runs quietly like new again although I found no excuse for the pump failure as it is well designed. Never... Read more
This door hinge spring counterbalances the dishwasher door so it opens smoothly and stays where you set it. Replace a weakened or broken spring to restore proper door tension and prevent the door from dropping or slamming.

I unscrewed and removed the plainly visible vario motor on the bottom of the machine and removed the cam from the shaft. I then used a needle nose plier to carefully turn the D-shaft on the new motor to exactly... Read more

This lower spray arm (nozzle assembly) mounts at the bottom of the tub and spins to deliver pressurized wash water across dishes. Replacing a cracked or clogged arm restores even spray coverage and helps resolve poor cleaning results.
Followed the LG owner's manual instructions for cleaning the wash "arms". After that was complete the lower arm wouldn't operate. The filter assemble was caked with calcium, so decided to replace it and the lower spray arm and the "Holder" as your catalog described it. Removal and replacement were easy. The exploded parts diagrams on your website were very helpful. Read more
This noise filter assembly conditions incoming AC power to reduce electromagnetic interference before it reaches the control system. A failed line filter can cause no power, intermittent shutdowns, or breaker trips; replacing restores stable, reliable operation. What it does:
Checked circuit breaker to d/w first. Good. Went to website to see no power issues. Most all of them mentioned the noise filter being the problem. Removed filter from machine and found the corner melted where fuse is located. Ordered new filter, installed, and now have power to switches. All the information I found on the website really made this a easy job to get done. Read more
