This genuine replacement screw secures the baffle in place to keep internal components aligned and reduce rattling or movement. It restores proper fit and helps maintain normal operation and water flow direction. What it does:
Ordered new baffle and the proper screws with help from appliance parts pros. Took washer apart. Removed soap dispenser cover, washer door, front, lifted top lid, removed seal to be able to access area to get screws in and tightened with a wrench. This part wasn't the easiest as there wasn't much room for my hand(s) to fit in, but just took my time and got it done. Read more
Did not know if these were the right parts. I believe i talked to someone named Robin and she was very helpful and friendly. Said she wasn't sure these were the parts since they were not listed on my model number but said if they didn't work i could send them back. been to many parts stores and nobody could find these two items or even suggest them. Very good employee who helped me. Was really surprised how fast my order got here. Excellent service. I've bookmarked your site and will be doing... Read more
I just wanted to put my experience here for all to see. I have a Maytag Neptune, MAH5500BWW, one of the original ones. I bought it back in 2002 and it has done many many loads of wash faithfully. So when the bearings started to get loud I thought it best to replace them, the seal kit and the belt. I did my research as best I could and decided to order the OEM parts from an appliance supplier. If you are replacing the bearings, watch on line videos prior to performing the job. It will... Read more
Color: Bisque. For white order WP22003275. For the outer door panel in bisque order 22003243. Used on Maytag Neptunes.
Ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros.com, it arrived in an undamaged box but when I opened it and took the inner panel out it was cracked and small piece was broken off. There was no packaging in the box, just the plastic panel loose in the box. I called and they replaced the part next day shipping at no additional cost to me - Thank You AppliancePartsPros.com, great customer service! The repair itself was extremely easy. removed the door from the washing machine, then removed the... Read more
Once we found the hidden 'Troubleshooting Guide' in the control panel, we were able to run a diagnostic check on it. A voltmeter was VERY helpful, and after running through the steps, found that the "inertial unbalance switch" was bad. It was easy to get to by removing the door, front panel, and then lifting the top off...it is attached to the top of the tub. One screw needed removed from the switch, and then I slid the old one off and the new on! *I must say, it took longer to figure out... Read more
Basically rebuilt the washer from the ground up. Spent more money than a new washer but we have been so happy with the way this machine has worked over the last 19 years figured it would be money well spent. Read more
Opened the washer (details later) and noted the controls and water path. Ordered dispenser bottom and cover and dispenser valve assembly and rubber washers. When the parts arrived I removed the top portion of the detergent dispenser assembly; removed the door and 2 screws from opposite door wall; snap open the front cover and lifted it off; removed 1 metal screw each from the bottom front corners of the top cover; lifted the top cover and used a piece of wood to hold it up; pull... Drain pump motor burned up, melting the electrical connector. Got a wiring harness from eBay and cut/spliced connector. Got pump from these guys and installed it. Then got "FL" error (door failed to lock). Got chassis wiring info to meter wiring harness through lock solenoid from these guys, and it checked good. Asked them to validate my troubleshooting steps, which they did. Ordered and installed the circuit board and everything works fine. Replacing the pump was about 30 minutes and... Read more
I was able to find the parts and when they arrived, the replacement took just a few minutes. Read more
With a little research - found Appliance Parts Pros and the instructional video on how to repair the flat style dryer igniter. To my surprise - the repair video showed what appeared to be my exact model or very similar to it. I ordered the igniter kit as well as the hinge hole covers (the originals had crumbled after years of being on the dryer). The parts arrived at my doorstep in a couple days. I would have been able to make the repair in about 15-30 minutes - however, I took the... Read more
